Brian's Angels

This is a bit of digital art I did for some friends. Let me explain...

These three lovely ladies were my co-workers, all working for Brian Henry on a small software project. Not too long after the first Charlie's Angels movie came out with much hoopla, one of our other fellow worker bees -- I'm betting it was Chuck Dill -- started referring to them as Brian's Angels. The name stuck.

When Halloween rolled around, they wanted to dress up for Halloween at the office and were trying to figure out who to dress up as -- when it occurred to them that they could dress as themselves... as Brian's Angels! They did so with great flair... and took the original photo in the hallway (shown below) in imitation of the DVD cover for the movie.

The bland office hallway background just did NOT do justice to their efforts. So I changed their poses slightly to make the composition a little more dramatic (e.g., changed the angle of Amitha's leg slightly), gave Olga a top to her head :-), smoothed their hair, saturated and balanced the colors (since the original was a bit washed out in the poor lighting), and created a background matching the original DVD cover.

And here's another variation. I mean, come on, how can you have a Charlie's Angels ripoff that does NOT include bikinis and heavy artillery? :-)
