Have you taken a breath of fresh air lately?
    Does it enliven you?
        I have.
            Let back in.

Have you seen the morning sun today?
    Is it warm and light?
        I haven't.
            It's dark over here.

Have you walked down your path today?
    Not me.
        I've lost my shoes.

Did you hear the birds singing this morning?
    I didn't.
There's a ringing in my head

Where are my shoes?
    Answer the phone
Let me listen to the world and smile
            and walk down the road.

Have you hurt yourself today?
    I have.
I killed a part of me just the other day.

Have you cried until it hurt today?
    I have.
        I do everyday without you.
